So, how did I get started?
My journey into UX design started unexpectedly during a year-long training program called YearUp. At the time, I was diving deep into software development, but a project on User Experience opened my eyes to a whole new world. I found it captivating like a lightbulb moment, and knew I had to explore more.
During my internship at Hearst’s application development team, I was lucky enough to get a preview of UX firsthand. I decided to take it a step further and enroll in the Google UX Design Certificate course to establish a solid foundation. The process of learning UX from the ground up was challenging, but my software development background gave me the confidence to take it on.
To strengthen my skills, I enrolled in a five-month UX Upskilling program, which equipped me with in-demand skills in UX design. I explored key UX principles, enhanced my technical skills, and gained a solid foundation in coding for design. This experience helped me realize just how much I loved the process of making complex ideas simple and user-friendly.
I am currently pursuing a master’s in Educational Technology & Instructional Design to bridge design thinking and impactful learning.
